Subsidies ate the Boom. Diesel is subsidised at around 38c/liter.

If other fuels such as domestic LPG got an equivalent subsidy (22c/liter) to imported diesel, transport costs would be less, emissions much reduced, fuel security enhanced.
Same result if no subsidy on any fuel.
Same story with coal.
What about a level playing field for alternative energy?
